Rough days lie ahead for our NewSpring friend.
We become what we BEHOLD. Period.
So what has he been beholding lately? From Cooper’s Twitpic:

oh dear is right. I cant believe this was a post. And i thought the last post was bad. Why are people on this blog so caught up with Perry Noble’s, Steven Furtick’s, Brad Cooper’s twitter accounts???
It’s funny. That’s why it’s here.
When Cooper’s tweeted wisdom is not flat out wrong, it’s often absurd. Do you really believe that you become whatever you behold? Be careful, or by reading PP you might turn into me (there are worse fates).
Rather than going all serious on how dumb this tweet is, matching his “period.” assertion with his own actions makes the point with a little bit of humor and ridicule.
Laugh a little when you get the chance. It’s almost as good as being jacked up.
By the way, why is Cooper ridiculing a man made in God’s image for the skin tone of his legs? I’ll bet after all of Paul’s time in prison, he probably had legs that often looked like this.
I wonder if he’d be man enough to say that to the man’s face?
Interesting post. I thought the more relevant opener would have been: I can’t believe this was a tweetpic (from BCoop).
Interesting question. I thought the more relevant one would be: why is Cooper so caught up with a man’s legs.
Finally: why are you, Anthony, so inclined to defend PNoble, SFurtick, BCoop – in the face of ridiculous posts, comments, tweets, etc?
Remember Anthony: You are what you behold!
Duncan—you said to laugh a little when I can but you obviosuly dont see this was meant as a joke. The twitpic wasnt meant to be serious. I’m not the only one that needs to relax I guess 🙂
Tommy F — Do you sleep okay at night and ask for forgiveness during your prayers for judging a Man of God? How’s that working out for ya? I have thoughts and ideas about other churches and pastors BUT I try to keep them to myself because I am not the Judge, He is.
Hey, why are my legs on here?
Inspired by Brett Favre and taught by Twitter, I’ve decided to subscribe to DirecTV’s college and NFL packages and watch football all weekend.
Next week I’ll be signing with the Carolina Panthers as a wide receiver.

Q: Are you judging me for judging BCoop? What’s the difference?
And what about my question about BCoop taking pictures of a man’s legs – a complete stranger? He’s ridiculing someone for having pale skin. It’s really odd to then post it on twitter.
Don’t try and take credit for my legs. I’m paler than you.
I don’t like that Cooper took a picture of some stranger’s legs and then proceeded to make a joke at his expense. That’s not cool. It is an especially bad example for the youth that he ministers to, given teenagers propensity for teasing and bullying.
If you won’t say it to his face, why post it online?
If Cooper consistently dealt with others this way, I would question the appropriateness of him being a youth minister. However, this seems out of character with the warmth that I usually see from him, so I won’t be making it into more than it is- which is a dumb mistake that he thought would funny.
I would like to very quicky question if we know for a fact that it was some strangers legs. How do we not know that he knew this person and it was poking fun at them? because that happens.
Seth, Riiiight. Perhaps it’s Perry, and this is what his legs look like under the jeans.
For all that NS says about not having a dress code, this is definitely not “not the dress code.”
I think it is a legitament question to ask. Because if it is a friend then you would be wrong, and we all know that that can just not happen. On, and it would distorting the truth on a website that talks about people who supposedly distort the truth, see any contradictin there? Just want to make sure.

So: ask him and you can let us know. I imagine he’ll return your calls, tweets, emails, etc. As a rule NS staffers ignore attempts to contact them, from … non-NS-ers.
