Pajama Pages gets results (Part II)

Discovering that I am either making the enemy happy or pissing him off.
From Furtick this morning:
Thanks to blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and the like (read: blah blah blah), every idiot with an opinion has a printing press. And it is becoming increasingly socially acceptable to talk crap about people you’ve never met as if they were fictional characters.
I assume he’s just trying to catch up to Lamb and Noble’s Google c**p counts.

I read Furtick’s blog post. Maybe you should clarify that you did attempt to correspond with PN before you went public with your criticisms. And it was PN who wouldn’t respond to you. Maybe that makes him the “wuss?” (Furtick’s term, not mine)
Also:
Furtick wrote: “I found myself lamenting that I’m a part of such a spineless, say what you want about who you want whether you know them or not generation.”
So, by this statement I guess Furtick would find it equally as reprehensible that PN (and the like-minded)relentlessy attack nameless pastors and churches across the country?
At least PP knows the names and positions of those we criticize. I would say we’re a step above…
I would love to clarify all of that with Furtick, so if someone can point me to his email address or contact details, that would be very helpful.
Either that, or let him open his blog to comments.
FYI, I emailed PN this afternoon to set up a meeting. I know he’ll be eager to hear what I have to say face to face and man to man.
post whatever you can from this meeting please…
Albert, there you go with that sarcasm problem again.
Who says I was being sarcastic? I would like to know what kinds of things are discussed in this upcoming meting. More specifically:
-Why he has his face on a deck of cards
-Why he thinks its OK to have long hair based on religious icons
-Did he ever get that tape worm living in his stomach that was causing all the hunger twitters taken care of
If you could cover those topics for me, that’d be great.
That’s more like it.
So my problem is with specifics? I’ll keep that in mind.
Furtick’s blog actually made me laugh out loud for real.
“Thanks to blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and the like (read: blah blah blah), every idiot with an opinion has a printing press”
… excluding pastors in NC with their own blogs
“After I repented* of my carnal judgmental attitude, I found myself lamenting that I’m a part of such a spineless, say what you want about who you want whether you know them or not generation.”
*if he had really repented and felt bad, would he have later blogged
“These freaking wusses would never say this stuff to my friend’s face. What a pitiful bunch of anonymous cowards”
And I would also like to know if he’s talked to you, because only wusses would talk about you… not to you.
Micah, you ask if Furtick has talked to me. I assume you mean that as a rhetorical question, because you surely know the answer.
All these “conversations” with the culture are one-way only.
Every time I read Furtick’s blog… about once every other day since it was posted, I find something new to laugh about… here’s the latest.
“What a pitiful bunch of anonymous cowards.”
This is funny because as I look over PP, everyone so far who has spoken out about him or Perry has attached their name to their comment, while a number of those who defend them, or attack PP stay anonymous… pretty funny.
Examples:

anonymous – http://www.jduncan.com/blog/?p=1671#comments
simply amazed (who later identified himself, to be fair…) and Anonymous (who never did)

I commend Pajama Pages, if for nothing else, then for this, we aren’t afraid to own up to what we say! So maybe he isn’t talking about you after all Dr. Duncan!
What do you mean, if for nothing else?
It’s been a rough evening. First Tommy, then Twit, and now you?
I may be ODing on Starbursts tomorrow.
haha, there’s more to be said for PP then that… just an expression.
But of you DO decide to turn to a Starburst eating frenzy in your despair, you should twitter about it… we’d all love to hear the step-by-step.
Starbursts? That word makes me happy and hungry!!
Be sure to try them frozen. Be sure to try them on pizza.
The thing about Starburst is that after you eat them, you’re still HUNGRY!!!! SO FREAKIN HUNGRY!!!!
