Technology does not change truth

A modern preacher: Last year, Voelz, a pastor, was tweeting at a conference outside Nashville about ways to make the church experience more creative – ways to “make it not suck” – when suddenly it hit him: Twitter. Voelz and David McDonald, the other senior pastor at Westwinds Community Church in Jackson, Mich., spent two ...

A glittering example of Twitter wisdom

(Yes, Albert, that’s sarcasm.) I must say that I have no idea what this means: The church should be full of people who have been brought OUT of the womb rather than seeking to live in a tomb!!! Life, if done right, always ends in a tomb.

It was impossible to concentrate

…when I read this post over breakfast: The word “impossible” isn’t in God’s dictionary…we should remove it from ours!!! According to Nielsen, “a retention rate of 40 percent will limit a site’s growth to about a 10 percent reach figure … There simply aren’t enough new users to make up for defecting ones after a certain point.” Churn baby, ...

Did Twitter get its timestamp wrong?

By the miracle of Twitter, we’re again able to plot Pastor Noble’s appetite and his continuing quest to sate it, though these two posts seem to have been posted out of order. ATL traffic has me really wanting to sat not nice words!!! (35 minutes ago) Crap–conflicted about where to eat dinner…Fogo or Maggiano’s? (2 ...

Go back to hunger reports, please

It seems that when I complain about something on this blog, things just get worse. After pointing out how often we get PN hunger reports, this morning’s Twomit does the reverse. Literally threw up in my mouth while lifting weights this morning…didn’t stop…can’t let a little vomit get in the way! Good to know.
