A passionate leader will sacrifice—period! But he must never sacrifice the CAPS LOCK key, question marks (???) or exclamations!!!
You’ve heard Perry talk, right? Can you imagine him trying to communicate how he talks through text by a series of mundane paragraphs with periods at the end? People would be in for a shock when they actually heard him speak.
The punctuation in PN’s sentence is deliciously oxymoronic.
Instead of the claimed period, it’s replaced with a dash, six letters and an exclamation mark. So what he really meant to say was, “A passionate leader will sacrifice dash period exclamation mark. (period)”
